Tara graduated in 2000 from Temple University with a Bachelors in Social Work and in 2012
from Millersville University with her Masters in Social Work. Tara has over 11 years experience
in the counseling field and has worked in a variety of different settings including Outpatient
Therapy, School Based Therapy and as a Family Life Educator.

Tara is bilingual, has lived in South America for several years and can provide therapy services
in English or Spanish. Tara works with children, teens and adults and enjoys working with
clients from many different walks of life. Over the years, Tara has become trained in a variety of
treatment modalities, including training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
non-directive Play Therapy, EMDR and DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
 

Tara honors each of her clients’ individual stories and enjoys getting to know her clients in a
relational manner. Tara believes that a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step and
is happy to walk alongside clients with whatever they bring into the counseling room.
Tara lives in Lancaster City with her husband, son and dog. When she isn’t working, she can
be seen practicing yoga, mindfulness, running and playing video games with her family.
